Our assignment was to create a wireframe for a redesign of a website. I chose to work on www.care4kids.org, the Web site for Presbyterian Children’s Services. I’m doing social media consulting services for the organization, which is re-branding its overall name to Care For Kids, and plans to redesign its site. The goals of my redesign included simplifying the site’s navigation and categories, as well as creating a dominant spot on the home page for whatever news or story the organization would like to highlight. Additionally, I wanted to create a sidebar with ways to support the organization, from making a donation to become a Facebook fan.
